ANND together with 42 civil society organizations from the Arab region sent letters to the relevant EU institutions, concerning the EU trade and investment strategy for the Southern Mediterranean. The letter, supported as well by 15 European NGOs was sent to European Parliament Committees on Human Rights, Foreign Affairs, Development and Trade and recalled that the new EU trade or investment agreements should await the establishment of the development model requested by the peoples in these countries and ratification of the new constitutions for the promotion and protection of human rights.
